We manage your school search by:

- An in-depth meeting to get to know your child and family’s presenting needs and priorities
- A thorough case history to understand your child’s profile and background
- Review of any available reports (school or therapist reports)
- Zoom meetings with relevant professionals from your previous country ( e.g. teachers and therapists) to understand your child’s current pathway and planned direction
- A personalized shortlist of schooling recommendations
- We arrange school tours so you can develop a comprehensive understanding of each schooling option.
- Discussion of the strengths and weaknesses of each option
- Personalised assistance to work through your options until you make your application.

The Guided Child provides comprehensive assessment services for children 0-16 years of age.

Assessment includes:

A comprehension speech and language assessment
Consultation with the school teacher
A comprehensive report
A feedback session explaining the assessment results, their impact on everyday functioning and the next steps.
Consultation with other allied health professionals for the ‘big picture’.
A personalized shortlist of specialized therapists that are highly qualified in your child’s area of specific need.

- $280 Articulation Assessment only ( no school visit needed)
- $650 Comprehensive Speech and Language Assessment

The Guided Child provides intervention services for children 0-16 years of age.

Intervention includes:

45 or 60 minute session (school or home-based, including feedback time)
Individual written feedback and video’s after each session for maximum carryover at school and at home.
