Case Study – 4-year-old Ava

A ‘Practitioner Search’ Consultation

The Story…

Ava had been attending formal physiotherapy for an extended period.  Her private and public physiotherapists wanted Ava to transition from formal physiotherapy to more general and age-appropriate physical activities, that would stimulate her skills and interest for natural and holistic progress. Ava’s parents didn’t know where to start looking as they needed special activities and teachers to enable Ava to participate and experience success.

The outcome…

After consulting with the two physiotherapists and understanding the goals and projections, various therapeutic classes were researched identified and approved by the two physiotherapists. Each option was personally contacted and asked if they could accommodate Ava’s specific needs. Finally, a shortlist of options and timetables were presented to the family for their consideration and Ava was enrolled in suitable classes.
